About

Matt Waters

There’s a particular kind of frustration that comes from having done the work and still being stuck.

You’ve tried things. Maybe a lot of things. And they’ve helped — to a degree. But there’s always another layer, another version of the same problem showing up in a slightly different form. The processing never quite ends, and somewhere underneath the effort there’s a quiet question: is this ever actually going to resolve?

That was my experience too. Cognitive behavioural therapy, hypnotherapy, meridian therapies, belief reprogramming, energy work of various kinds. Each had something to offer. None of them got me to what I came to think of as the nub of things.

Then I came across the work of Dr. Kam Yuen — a Chinese-American martial artist, engineer, and chiropractor who’d spent decades developing a framework for understanding how the human energy system actually operates. I heard a clear inner voice telling me I had to pursue it. I ignored that voice for longer than I should have, which is a pattern I’ve since learned to recognise.

When I finally committed to it, the results were unlike anything I’d experienced with other approaches. Thirty-plus years of chronic sinusitis, gone. Seasonal allergies I’d managed my whole adult life, gone. Emotional patterns I’d been working on for years, cleared. Not managed. Not coped with. Cleared.

“The problem isn’t always what you think it is. But once you find the real thing, the change tends to be fast and lasting.”

I’ve been using these tools daily ever since — on myself and with clients. The thing that still strikes me is how direct it is. You find what’s actually weak, you acknowledge it, and it shifts. Often immediately. The problem isn’t always what you think it is — in fact, it rarely is. But once you find the real thing, the change tends to be fast and lasting in a way that analysis and processing never quite delivers.

Who This Is For

People come to me
for two broad reasons.

Something that hasn’t responded to anything else

Physical symptoms that persist despite treatment. Emotional patterns that keep showing up regardless of how much work they’ve done. A recurring situation that follows them around and makes no logical sense. Something underneath is maintaining it — and once that’s found and cleared, the thing itself tends to dissolve.

Something they’re trying to build

A business they can’t quite get off the ground. A creative project that keeps stalling. A version of their life that feels clear in their mind but somehow doesn’t translate into reality. The obstacle isn’t always obvious — sometimes it’s buried well beneath the surface — but it’s always findable. And once it’s gone, what felt stuck tends to move.

Both are the same work. The skill is finding what’s actually in the way, at whatever level it lives, and clearing it. Whether that’s a physical symptom or a financial ceiling, the process is the same.

No long story required. No reliving difficult experiences. You tell me what’s bothering you, or what you’re trying to create, and I find what’s in the way and clear it. The goal is always resolution — not management, not coping strategies, not another layer of insight to carry around.

Outside of the work: I spent twenty-odd years DJing before it became the thing everyone did. I travel when I get the chance. I tell jokes that my family diplomatically describe as “classic dad.”

If any of that sounds familiar — something that hasn’t shifted despite real effort, or something you want to create that keeps not happening — you’re exactly who this work is for. And there’s a reasonable chance it’s closer to resolving than you think.
